Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple : Kadiri

The Temple of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy is one among the many renowned shrines in the Rayala Seema are ranking the importance with the great shrine of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, at Tirupati. The local hill called stotradri is the place where the devas worshipped the Lord after He destroyed the demon Hinranyakasipu in the Durgam in Godduvelagala vge which is situated nearby to this town Kadiri.

Kadiri is my home town. I have visited this temple many times but i am writing for the experience. I believe in god so i visit temples a lot. In this temple the celebration are done very effectively. Devotees can visit god at any point of time between 9-am to 6-pm everyday. There is a three day celebration called 'theru' done in end of Feb. People come to this from all over the world for this event. If you want to go don't miss it.
